Membership in the Japan–Ukraine Drone Cluster (JUDC) is available to organizations that are members of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (UCCJ).

JUDC is a specialized networking platform established as an initiative of UCCJ to facilitate industrial cooperation, technology exchange, and strategic partnerships between Japan and Ukraine in the field of unmanned systems and related technologies.

While UCCJ membership is the first step, participation in JUDC requires a separate application and review process.

This approach helps maintain a trusted, high-quality ecosystem where members share common values, professional standards, and a genuine commitment to international cooperation.

Step-by-step joining

Step 1

Become a member of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (UCCJ).

Step 2

Submit the JUDC Participation Application.
This supplementary application allows us to better understand your organization’s activities, areas of expertise, collaboration interests, and potential contribution to the JUDC ecosystem.

Step 3

Application Review
Each application is reviewed to ensure alignment with JUDC’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
Approved organizations become official participants of the Japan–Ukraine Drone Cluster and gain access to networking activities, business matchmaking, industry events, working groups, and collaborative initiatives.
Please note that UCCJ membership does not automatically grant participation in JUDC. Participation is offered to organizations that express a clear interest in joining the platform and successfully complete the review process.

Organizations&Academia Partners

The Japan–Ukraine Drone Cluster (JUDC) is an initiative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (UCCJ), established as a networking and collaboration platform to foster industrial, technological, academic, and institutional cooperation with Ukraine.

As JUDC operates under the umbrella of UCCJ and does not constitute a separate legal entity, all formal partnership agreements are concluded by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (UCCJ) on behalf of the initiative.

Cooperation with companies, universities, research institutions, local governments, industry associations, innovation clusters, public organizations, and other stakeholders is formalized through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) or Memoranda of Cooperation (MoCs), reflecting a shared commitment to developing long-term partnerships and promoting mutually beneficial initiatives.

These agreements provide a framework for collaboration across areas of common interest, including business networking, research and innovation, technology exchange, business missions, educational activities, pilot projects, and other initiatives that contribute to strengthening innovation ecosystem.

Through this structure, JUDC combines the institutional credibility and international network of UCCJ with a dedicated platform focused on connecting organizations, facilitating meaningful partnerships, and creating opportunities for sustainable industrial and technological cooperation.

Integrity and Responsible Participation

JUDC is committed to building a trusted international ecosystem based on transparency, responsible business practices, and respect for international law.

As part of the application process, organizations are required to disclose any direct or indirect ownership, control, subsidiaries, affiliates, joint ventures, significant commercial relationships, or other material connections involving the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, or any individuals or entities subject to Ukrainian or international sanctions.

Applicants must promptly inform JUDC of any changes to such relationships throughout the period of their participation.

Organizations that maintain business relationships inconsistent with JUDC’s values or that are connected to sanctioned persons or entities, or to activities that may undermine the security interests of Ukraine or its international partners, are not eligible to participate in the platform. This policy reflects Ukraine’s sanctions framework and international compliance practices designed to protect national security and ensure responsible international cooperation.
